Boracay's BFP investigators are still studying the cause of the fire and calculating the cost of damage.

 The fire was eventually placed under control at 1:12 pm and was annihilated at 1:22 pm. The affected civilians are still staying at the covered court of Barangay Manoc-Manoc. It was around 40 establishments which are mostly made of flammable materials burned down.

 It was also estimated that around 300 people were affected but officially released that nobody is killed during the incident. 2 civilians were injure including a senior citizen, 76 year-old currently residing at Sitio Bantud.

 Having a narrow area and a strong wind that caused the fire to spread fast, Firemen from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Boracay Fire Substation and members of the Boracay Fire Rescue and Ambulance Volunteers responded to the scene at around 12:30 pm in Sitio Bantud.

 This incident happened on Jan. 27, 2019.
